Starting a New Tradition

Although Mahlon and I have both lived in Bowling Green for seven years now, neither of us had ever made the trip out to the locally famous Jackson's Orchard. Now that Harrison has arrived and we are a family of 3, we thought this would be as good a time as any to start a new tradition! So, this afternoon we took our first ever family trip to Jackson's Orchard.

Although Harrison could not stand on his own this year, we still wanted to get a picture of him next to the height chart to have to compare with the pictures in years to come :).
We really enjoyed our afternoon strolling around the orchard.
We walked through the playground area and even though he couldn't play, we just had to get a picture with the tractor!
Since Harrison was in such a good mood
We took the opportunity to snap some quick pictures.

We loved our first trip to the orchard and were glad to start a new tradition :)

Jump, Jump,Jump!

Ok, he's not really jumping. He is more or less pushing himself off of Mahlon's hands but he still had fun! He is so ready to be a big boy! What happened to my newborn baby?!?!

It's true

Yes, it's true
I hold my sweet baby while he sleeps.
I just can't help it.
I only have 11 more days with him until I have to go back to work, which is incredibly sad, and therefore I do not feel guilty about holding him while he naps :)

One Month!

Our sweet Baby Harrison is 1 month old! We went for our 1 month well check up this morning where the doctor told us that Harrison now weighs 10 lbs 12 oz and is 23 inches long! That's 3 lbs 1 oz heavier and 2 1/2 in longer than he was when he was born! Wow! What a growing boy!
Here is Harrison 1 day old with his big blue bear from Mahlon's Dad

And here he is at 1 month old!
He is getting so big ;(
